Not only did we visit historically significant neighborhoods, we also went to important sites, such as the oldest synagogue in Argentina. Valeria is an excellent knowledgeable, enthusiastic and upbeat guide. She took care of everything so there was nothing for us to plan. Valeria and the driver picked us up from our hotel and the adventure began. Our tour was well planned at a comfortable pace, it was incredibly interesting and enjoyable. We were interested in seeing Sephardic as well as Ashkenazi synagogues and Valeria made sure we saw all we wanted to see. She also recommended a wonderful place for lunch. The tour with Valeria was exceptionally successful. From the time I made the reservation, until we were dropped off at our hotel, Valeria was excellent. Our flight was delayed several hours and we landed within one hour of the start time. After I let Valeria know, she pushed back the tour by one hour. That shows very good client service. Once the tour started, Valeria was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We spent a very pleasant 4 hours with Valeria. She helped us learn the history of the Jewish immigration to Argentina and understand the development of the Buenos Ares community. We were able to gain knowledge about the 2 bombings in Buenos Aires and the capture of Adolf Eichmann as well as several other significant events over the years. We visited all the areas of interest and saw many of the appropriate artifacts which helped us understand the history of all the events.

Valeria met us with a driver (Gabriel) at our hotel and drove us to the several sights on our Jewish walking tour of Buenos Aires. She communicated with us several days beforehand about the need to bring our passports and cash for entrance to the synagogues. In addition, Valeria took us to the subway station to see some of the Jewish historical artwork. The tour was very informative, and we were only two persons on the tour which made it easy to ask questions and stop for photographs. Thanks to Valeria.

Valerie knows BA very well, including important historical facts and interesting cultural explanations so you learn without feeling like you are being taught. We did the Jewish tour by Valeria. Most professional guide who knew her material and of course was flexible in schedule. Despite COVID we managed to visit two Synagogues, the Jewish Museum, the holocaust memorial, the memorials at the Jewish Federation and former Israel embassy. Walks through the Jewish section of BA were enlightening and interesting. Guides knowledge about the history of Jewish Argentina was outstanding. Highly recommended.

This will be a trip, an opportunity, of a lifetime”. This is what so many people said to me when they heard my plans to travel to Buenos Aires with Rabbi Marcelo Bronstein, Development Director, Lisa Steinberg and a group of congregants from B’nai Jeshurun. Led by Rabbi Marcelo and Lisa, our congenial and adventurous group shared unforgettable experiences ranging from sites both Jewish and non-Jewish. The direct exposure to and confrontation with the political history of Argentina was both disturbing and heart-wrenching. However, the most meaningful aspect of the trip for me was seeing where our wonderful clergy at B’nai Jeshurun come from. For twenty years I had heard their stories and about Bet El(synagogue) and its origins and to experience services there and meet the community was so special. The services and warm welcome we received were unforgettable. This wonderful trip was planned and arranged in conjunction with Valeria Duek of Kosherlat-Jewish Heritage Tours in Argentina. Valeria was involved in every detail of the trip, no matter how large or small.; she is well organized and most congenial. The level of hotel, food and all other services she provided to the group were of the highest quality. I have never before seen the personal level of attention that she provided to us from any other tour operator. I recommend her very highly.
